Carving Pumpkins

We love making Bens laugh, he has the cutest little giggle!

For Family Home Evening this week, Spence bought some pumpkins and a carving kit. Here I am super focused...I chose a pattern with three bats flying over a bell tower.

Bens got a little bored, he's a bit too young for pumpkin carving. He is a skeleton for Halloween, the bones even glow in the dark.

Spence chose to make a scary face on one side of the pumpkin, and a spider's web on the other. He even bought lights that change colors to put inside the pumpkins. We roasted the pumpkin seeds and salted them, they were quite tasty.

Here are the final products! Happy Halloween!

Looks like you had some fun! It's hard to believe Benson is already 3 months old! He looks like a lot of fun. Wes is still in eat, sleep, poop mode. He's such a joy though. Hope everything is going well for you!

Dude, you are a better man than I to create and cut pumpkins out like that. I have to convince my kids the basic designs are the scariest and the best. Props bro.
